Linden Grove School embraces parent commitment and participation as a "parent-cooperative" school. Family support and contribution is integral to the success of our children, and allows the school to keep tuition costs reasonable and the school running effectively. In addition, research has shown that student achievement is greater when there is parent involvement. Linden Grove has the following parent-cooperative process in place:
  • Each family contributes 6 hours per month of volunteer time in various areas
  • A member from each family serves on one or more committees or teams such as fundraising, school operations, hospitality, public relations, and administrative support to name a few.
  • Parent-to-school communication flows have been established for effective information sharing.
  • A weekly parent newsletter for school and program updates.
  • A monthly parent meeting to share overall school updates goals, funding, and open discussion regarding parent ideas, thoughts, and suggestions.
  • A designated number of parents serve as members on the Board of Trustees.
  • Optional parent support groups are formed within the Linden Grove Community.
  • Parent's participation in fundraisers
